Displaying Your Canvas Print
Our customers often ask us, "What's the best way to display and care for my new canvas print?" So, we decided to write a short article on the subject.
Displaying your new canvas is definitely a matter of personal preference but we do have a few tips about how to get the most out of your new canvas. Our photos on canvas and fine art giclee prints are printed with museum grade archival ink and media. What this means is with the proper care and placement your canvas print will last for generations. The components that Canvas Depot uses to manufacture your photo to canvas are among the finest and most durable products available. We coat every canvas with a UV inhibitor that protects and increases the image stability dramatically. The canvas and pigment inks are actually sealed on the surface and are protected from harmful atmospheric contaminants like moisture and sunlight. It is best to display your canvas indoors out of direct sunlight. The laminate coating is very durable and extremely resistant to moisture. If your canvas print comes in contact with moisture you can simply wipe it dry with a soft cloth without harming the image. This same technique can also be used to remove dust that can accumulate over time. Viewing distance is also a consideration when displaying photography and fine art canvas prints. Smaller prints work well in narrow hallways and larger prints work best in large rooms. Canvas Depot also seals the back of every gallery wrap canvas with a dust cover.
We hope these tips help and assure your canvas print will last a lifetime. You can learn more about photos on canvas and fine art prints at CanvasDepot.com
